Vassallo, Haas, Row WIN @ Lowell's 1st RUN
COLBY standout, TEAM ADIDAS, GTD desciple AND GOON runner Dan (ANIMAL) Vassallo proved once again that talent and hard work pays dividends. ANIMAL used his 100+ miles per week training to lead him to an EASY victory over 2nd place by 4 MINUTES !! Dan ran a 31:59 in the 10K.
Running for GTD, and GOON runners as well, in the 5K was Frank (BONES) Row and Kara (PUMA) Haas. BONES finished 4th overall and 1st in age group in 18:20. Hot on his heels was the black cat PUMA, Kara was 5th overall and 1st Women in 18:24.
Other GOON notables were:
Mr. Gambino: 42:35 Tina had the ball and chain attached and was pulling Glenn along for a "training" run.
Hillman: 43:55 decent tempo run, boy am I out of shape.
Sonic Boom: 44:39. 1st in AG! Linda continues to amaze us.
Showtime: 44:40. Looks like Linda had a better kick than Dan!
Judge: 47:23. what can i say about Your Honor? He made it into the new year uninjured!! Look out Doc and Goatie...you've got targets on your back. LOL
