Once again, if you have children in the room remove them immediatly!

Yes, it is Hill Checkherout Man with something on his leg after running the Bedford 12K.

The Goons also learned that HCM took care of Bentley on Sunday and within a few hours Bentley was rolling in dog poopy!

So what the heck is that on his leg?

Ruff...Ruff...Ruff...Ruff... Ruff...Ruff... Ruff...Ruff !!!!!!!

TRANSLATION

ATTENTION GOON NATION

Your founding Goons are pleased to announce four new members who will be blessed with Goonism. After many hours of deliberation and the approval of Bentley we are happy to announce the following Goons in Training.

1 - Michael Foster from North Andover - Mike has run with the Lazarus House Charity Team the last two years and has raised over $7000.00. He wants to get back to track and we are hoping he joins us on Tuesdays running with Going The Distance. The Goons had to do some serious undercover work to get some good dirt on Mike and we succeeded. I know he is going to love his future Goon Name. ;-) Ruff!!!!

2 - Gary Circosta from Rutland, MA - Gary's request to be a Goon was very impressive. We pounded him with questions of why he wanted to be a Goon and his responses were perfect. Gary has been running for a long time and has many Goon qualities. HCM was most impressed with him bleeding all over the street after running Boston one year. He was 4th in his age division this year at the Boston Prep 16 Miler. Gary is a young 61. Ruff!

3 & 4 - Jay & Gina Newton - Jay & Gina train with us at Going The Distance. They both sent in beautiful letters requesting to be blessed with the power of the Big "G". They are both dedicated runners, always working hard. Ruff, Ruff!!!

All four are now members of the Goon Squad Runners but are Goons-in-Training. They will receive their Official Goon Names soon along with their Big "G" Goon Singlet.

Glamour Hammer Runs A Boston Qualifier

The Big "G" was well represented Sunday at the Sugarloaf USA Marathon. Our powerful Glamour Hammer pushed through rain and finished 2nd Womans Master at a time of 3:26:57. She was running so fast that she did not even have time to put on lipstick!!!

It was her 14th marathon and she gave it her all and "hammered" the last 4 miles. GH said, "Thanks to Fernando's fabulous coaching, I'm able to do that now. It rained for most of the race so I'm sure that I didn't live up to the 'glamour' part of my Goon name. Thanks for all of your support, my dear running friends. I look forward to training/racing with you all soon!!!"
