The Newtons Score Big PRs
On September 30th, Gina Newton (OCG) ran the Smuttynose Half Marathon in 1:28:30 for a 2 minute PR, winning her age group. Then again on October 21, OCG ran the Baystate Half Marathon in 1:30:28 placing 2nd in her age group.
Also on October 21, Jay Newton (Brewski) ran his first sub-3 hour marathon finishing at 2:59:29. It was a very successful fall racing season for the Newtons.
Gumby, Spanky & Pusher at the Chicago Marathon
Three Goons invaded the Chicago Marathon with impressive results.
John Murphy "Pusher" had gone through chemo treatments and came back to run an incredible 4:04:53.
Hank Wilder "Spanky" who also never quits ran a PR of 3:44:51.
Finally the crazy and smoking hot Goon Karen Durante "Gumby" ran a PR or 3:23:54 and placed 2nd in her age division.
Punisher Gets The Rock
